Taj Mahal is a pre-Islamic building in Agra, India. it was constructed before 11 th century. Muslim invasion took place in 1192. Shah Jehan's favourite queen's name was Arjumand Zamani not Taj Mahal.

Shah Jehan got this building from Jagat Singh, the grand son of Man Singh, commander in chief of Akbar, the grandfather of Shah Jehan. Man Singh got it from earlier days. Taj Mahal was a part of a Hindu palace. It has four floors; which the British blocked with stonewalls.

The building is facing East, just like any Hindu building, not west, which any Muslim building should face. It has motives of flowers and plants, prohibited in Muslim architecture. It has octagonal shape, according to Hindu Vastu Shastra.

It was never built by Shah Jehan, who modified it to put verses of Koran, not any love poems.
